Snowstorm Fern

Fern is a funny name to give a storm.

Since the wee bit of snow we briefly got–and by golly was it brief–this snow dump was much anticipated. One weatherman in particular kept us (mostly) sane during these unpredictable times.

And friends. The STORM IS HERE. I took a walk during the descent of the icy pebbles onto Earth’s surface. It was glorious. Here are some photos.

Kids and adults getting in their dose of Snow Day because there is no Monday Snow Day.
Children and adults run up and down a snow-covered hill. Some slide down on sldes. Others drag their sleds up to the top of the hill.

Steamy. I think I spooked the owner. She came out and tried to talk me but I didn’t understand what she was saying…

Some of the rare shops that were open did what they could. Most of the shops were seafood places. No spoilage here!
